Odendo FC kicks off Karungu annual tournament with draw over Milimani FC

Odendo FC draw with Milimani FC 1-1 in their first entertaining encounter of the Karungu annual tourney that is being played at Sori Green stadium in Nyatike Sub County.

Martin Omondi opened the account on 34th minute minute before Lukas Vela equalized on the 73rd minute giving both teams hopes of advancing.

In other matches of the day Sori FC lost their first match against Gunga FCwho beat them 2-0 as Ian Madison and Morgan Obonyo both registering their names in the score sheet.

Nyamanga FC shared the spoil with Sori BMU as Jordi Otunga and John Ochieng both ensured that they hit back of the net.

Simba FC beat Rabare FC by a solitary goal being scored by Alphones Odongo before Rabuor Youth FC supplanted Kobado FC 4-0 with Parmianus Ochola scoring a hat trick as Oscah Kembo scoring the winning goal.

Roydick Odhiambo the organizer told Migori News the tournament will end on Sunday next week.

“We aim to tap at young talents from the entire county as well as ensuring we enhance cohesion, peace and integration among community,” he said.

He appealed to the residents especially those who got the opportunity to participate in the games to make good use of it and ensure that apart from enriching themselves and enjoying they showcase their talents for their future benefit.
