Manchester United fans will be stuck with their error prone defender Harry Maguire as curtain sets to fall on the summer transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano on social media confirmed that the only club which seemed interested on Maguire services has backed off.
“Maguire’s move to West Ham currently OFF — not happening,” Romano said.
“Harry respects West Ham and David Moyes, but to be clear there was never an agreement in place between Harry and West Ham. For example, at no point has Harry spoken to David Moyes,” Romano quoted a source.
The source further claimed “Harry remains settled at United, loves the club and believes he will get plenty of opportunities to play this season.”
But after being the butt of jokes online and creating locker room tensions, Maguire has been stripped of the club captaincy and was on the bench during club opening match against Wolves.
