“We found the dead child by banks of the river after it couldn’t be swept down stream because of low water volume,” Sylvester Otieno, a villager said.

Villagers suspected the girl, and when they asked her she refused insisting her child who was born at St. Barnabas Clinic in the estate was taken to the father.

“We asked the father who refused and fled away, when we threatened to call police the girl and the family owned up to the heinous act,” Otieno said.
