Shock has hit Migori after Women Representative Pamela Odhiambo and three others escaped death in a grisly road accident at Winyo center, Rongo sub-county.

Her bodyguard Fred Owich was not lucky as he confirmed dead on the accident spot.

Two other occupants: Daniel Omoko Onyango and David Ouma Oloo also escaped death.

“The three were rushed to Migori Referral Hospital for treatment before being taken to Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu,” Rongo police boss Kibet Kirui confirmed the accident.

The accident occurred at about 9:45am.

“The vehicle has four occupants and was heading towards Homa Bay town to Kisumu when the accident occurred after a boda boda rider made a certain U turn in front of them,” Kirui said.

The driver tried to swerve in the right before the vehicle rolled over severally.
