Will President Uhuru Kenyatta lead another phase of the purge in his Jubilee Party on Monday parliamentary group meeting to fire Majority Leader Aden Duale?
All eyes will be on Duale and the meeting with anticipation on Kenyatta’s move after his deputy William Ruto and his supporters unveiled a parallel command centre in the party dubbed Jubilee Asili.
Daily Nation, in a report said the meeting could “see National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale fight to keep his seat, with Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya being considered to replace him.”
Kenyatta called for the meeting from 9am from Monday at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.
TangaTanga legislator removed from several National Assembly committees, are expected to be replaced during the meeting for all Jubilee Party legislators.
