A section of Siaya residents have called on senator James Orengo to come clear over what they claimed was assassination attempt at Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi.

Both Orengo and Wandayi are said to have plans to replace governor Amoth Rasanga as the next Siaya county chief in 2022 general elections.

The terse statement was read by the group in Siaya recently.
