Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo has distributed relief food to over 10, 000 households in Nyatike.

Beneficiaries received 1, 680 bags of rice and beans, from the national government. The food distribution which consisted of 840 bags of rice and 840 bags of beans comes at a time when residents of Nyatike Sub-County are facing hunger due to food shortage in the region.

Nyatike Sub-County had recently been classed among the asal areas which needed food relief.
