Teachers and staff at Kadika Girls Secondary School have been hurt after a bus they were travelling in caught fire last night.

The group we’re headed on a retreat to Mombasa when the vehicle they were traveling in caught fire after a break in Narok town.

The team was travelling using a commercial bus from Vanga brand as their official bus was under maintenance.

The bus was involved in a head on collision accident with a pickup which was on the wrong side of the road.

Only the driver in the pickup was reported dead after his vehicle too caught fire.

Several travellers from the institution have been injured after fire broke out around the vehicle’s engine area.
