A man under fire

Is Migori senator Ochillo Ayacko already working? The senate has recommended for governor Okoth Obado to be prosecuted for corruption.

This piles more pressure on Obado who is currently beleaguered by court appearances.

Among other charges he is to face include:

Sh14.7m which purchased medicine which can’t be traced
Sh1.5m he spent on MCAs illegally for a retreat in Mombasa county, Reef Hotel.
Sh3.2m which was used to book Obado in different hotels in his first year in office
Sh122.7m for purchase of vehicles
Sh36.8m for shoddy and unaccounted for ICT tenders

This adds more pressure for a man already under fire
