During the just concluded search for Kenya’s next Chief Justice Migori county was blessed to have two applicants.
The first was the Supreme Court Judge and established law industry player Jackton Boma Ojwang from Kakrao ward, Suna East constituency.

The other Ambassador Daniel Wambura from Masaba ward, Kuria West who was a beneficiary of Kuria West MP Mathias Robi who used his connection with Deputy President William Ruto to get Wambura his current job as legal advisor in Ruto’s office.

JB Ojwang’s wife Collete Suda who failed in her bid to be Migori senator in 2013 before being appointed PS had running cases of impartiality.

It arose from allegedly allowing Migori county government to build a road to his rural home when Gvernor Okoth Obado still had a pending election petition challenging his win in courts.
