Migori governor Okoth Obado finally faced his political nemesis senator Ochillo Ayacko for audit queries.

The Senate’s County Public Accounts and Investment Committee fined Obado Sh500,000 for failing to honour summon on May 6.

Obado failed to honor the summons during a sitting in Kisii and was ordered appear again on June 4 or be escorted by police.

But the fine was later removed after the governor apologised and said he will be in further summons when called up.
