Kisumu senator Outa Nyaruath has come under fire on social media for failure to honour a pledge to build the family of late musician Abenny Jachiga house.

During his death and burial months ago, Nyaruath riding on the popularity of the musician and his chaotic burial promised to build a house for achiga’s widow.

He rolled out his promise, amid so much fanfare, with foundation, walls and roof of the house going up.

But a popular blogger, Jarunda Jaluth Mambobiad shared photos of the house without windows.

“Hon Outa Nyaruath yawa tieke od Abenny Jachiga, ang’eyo ni in jasiasa ma wacho to timo (Hon Outa Nyaruath please finish the house of Abenny Jachiga, i know you are a politician who keeps his promise),” he posted.

The blogger chided the senator for stopping to build the house, after a wife inheritor took over.

The post elicited mixed reactions.
