Mombasa governor Hassan Joho is wasting no time after being inaugurated into his second term.

Joho has sped up work at the Bomu Stadium in Changamwe Sub-County.

“The stadium will have an official FIFA standard 11- a side Astro-Turf pitch with full amenities including lavatories, changing rooms, flood lights for night games with a sitting capacity of over 3000 fans,” Joho said.

This will follow Uwanja wa Mbuzi Stadium which was fully completed in his first term to have carpets and full FIFA standards.

The stadium was opened by NASA principal Raila Odinga.
