Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has predicted that President Uhuru Kenyatta will use June 22 Jubilee Party parliamentary group meeting to push through Sh57billion for referendum.

In a Facebook post, Kuria also claimed the meeting will kick out Aden Duale as the Majority Leader to push through the deal.

“The ongoing purge is meant to secure that. Its over in the Senate,” Kuria posted.

Kenyatta called the meeting at KICC, to what Kuria called in earlier post as a means to insult legislators, although he promised to attend.

“Make no mistake. Today’s Parliamentary Group meeting is no ordinary event. today is all about the Building Bridges Initiative,’ Kuria posted.

He predicted that after the meeting, Amos Kimunya will be the new Majority Leader who will move the BBI Bill in the National Assembly.

He also said Muturi Kigano as the new Chair of the Justice & Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) and Kanini Kega as the Chair of the Budget & Appropriations Committee will ‘pass a supplementary budget to divert the Sh57 Billion meant for Economic Stimulus and appropriate the same for a sham Referendum.”

“That is the essence of today’s PG. For some reason this is such a high stakes game to be entrusted to Aden Duale, William Cheptumo and Kimani Ichungwa,” he posited.

He termed the meeting as a ‘Dictatorship Express’ which will affect the judiciary and the IEBC, in a bid to fix Deputy President William Ruto ahead of 2022 elections.
