#KCPE2021 Matoso Complex Academy top candidate gets 404 marks, celebrates good results

Matoso Complex Academy in Got Kachola ward, Nyatike constituency has produced the top candidate scoring 404 marks out of a possible 500 in the just released KCPE examinations.

Valentine Cherono Richard was the top candidate and said she was elated with the results which she said was because of effort from teachers and parents.

“I wish to go to Kisumu Girls and I want to be a lecturer in the education sector in the future. I believe we will keep on working hard and trusting in God to all other candidates so that our efforts bear fruit,” Richard said.

The school had 18 candidates and the last one got 267 marks.

“We had a mean target of 350 but we achieved the 324.88 mark which we see as a big step,” the school’s head Asher Omondi Aloo said.

He said the school is open and welcomes learners as they have CBC and computer gadgets, computers and trainers to make learners to be competitive with others.

“We have preps and dawn for learning and a dedicated 13 teaching staff working tirelessly. We also have day and boarding schools right from lower primaries,” Aloo said.

He said they have a school van which ensure learners start education from 7:30am to 4pm.
