There was fear demonstrating nurses could have attempted to disrupt his updates, same fear he met in Kakamega.

But Kagwe, was met with demonstrations as angry traders blocked his access to Kakamega County headquarters where he was hosted by governor Wycliffe Oparanya.

Traders blocked the road and stopped Oparanya and Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa from visiting a nearby isolation center.

“We cant have a meeting when Kakamega has failed to provide us with any masks and sanitisers at the markets,” a trader lamented.

Kagwe was set to tour the Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital to inspect Covid-19 preparations by the county government, same place county demolished kiosks constructed along a road leading to the facility.
