ODM National Chairman John Mbadi in company of MP Mark Nyamita and  Migori MCAs launched homestead-to-homestead voter registration mobilization exercise in Uriri Constituency to help enhance Raila Odinga’s voting basket ahead of 2022 election.

During the exercise, Mbadi asked leaders from the region to stop following Raila Odinga in his rallies and channel that energy in mobilizing more people to register as voters.

Speaking in East Kanyamkago, Uriri sub-county, Mbadi said Raila had leaders all over the country to help him in his current campaign tours.

He said the leaders would play a key role in ensuring that the people, mostly youth, who have not registered as voters, come out and register.

The exercise which is to be rolled out in the entire Nyanza (Migori, Homabay, Kisumu, Siaya, Kisii and Nyamira) is aiming to increase voter population by 50% in the region from its current 2,688,086.
