Nominated MP  Denittah Ghati has called on men who sexually molest disabled girls of ‘dire consequences’ if found.

Ghati was speaking in Uriri constituency when she was hosted by area legislator Mark Nyamita to help register over 260 people living with disabilities.

“It is unfortunate that disabled women still face such barbaric acts from men who should be in the forefront of defending them,” she said.

She added. “I will table a bill in parliament seeking for castration of those found of sexually molesting disabled persons

Nyamita encouraged the disabled persons to register groups so as to benefit from the allocations given to minority groups.

He further challenged the County government of Migori to table a report on the tenders that had been issued to the disabled group group.

“There are tenders allocated for the marginalized and the county assembly should table a report on the tenders allocated so far,” he said
