Business, economy failing because of high level corruption- Migori muslim traders

The Migori county Muslim community has said the country’s economy and conducive business atmosphere has been affected by high level corruption in the country.

The Migori Muslim Development Committee in a festive season message to the country on Migori town on Sunday said government led by President William Ruto has not inspired Kenyans on fight on corruption.

The committee chairman Omar Hussein Ibrahim said corruption has started from elites in the country which has made every junior member of the government to partake on it.

Ibrahim said the cost of living has gone high and they pray to God to make sure the atmosphere is clean.

Former Mandera county MCA Faiza Omar Hussein said as a community they pray for a peaceful festive season.
