Joseph Odoyo, a poor son of a single mother beat all odds to attain 414 marks in the #KCPE2018 at Kakrao Primary School, a public school.
The KCPE results were released on Monday by education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed.
Odoyo has been raised by a single mother and since he was bright in school, the administration led by teachers took care of his upkeep at the school.
βHe is from a poor background and as teachers and community we supported him to be in school, we are impressed by his which is the first time the school has produced a pupil with over 390 marks,β Okello Adero, a the school head teacher said in a phone interview.
Odoyo wants to be a lawyer when he grows up.
