A Tanzania blogger has helped bring into public limelight a fake Made in China panadol which turns into a bandage once in contact with water.

In the video, the blogger who introduced himself as Prince Eliya from Dar Es Salaam started by taking a capsule from it seal and unsuccessfully tries to break it into two.

He then pours water at a capsule of the popular paracetamol medicine used to fight pain and it expands into a bandage or a cotton gauze used in dressing wounds.

The full gauze, shows how it can change in a stomach immediately after being taken and cause immediate death.
