Migori senator Ochillo Ayacko and Suna West MP Peter Masara has insisted that they have never insulted governor Okoth Obado on their stance against shortfalls of his leadership.

The two leaders said that it has been unfortunate that Obado’s supporters have been pushing through a narrative that they are always out to insult the governor.

“I have never insulted Obado in my work as a senator, if you find anywhere I have insulted him please come to me and I will give you money,” Ayacko insisted.

He said he has been humble and never insulted the governor in his quest to have work done.

“I have walked across the county and there is no completed market by county government, sadly ei know Obado has been afraid to come to functions I am in as he runs away,” Ayacko said.

Masara said he does not want to be the governor in Migori, but when “there are basic services, medicine like panadol, gloves or even fuel for generators at county referral we will talk.”

They were reacting to claims by Agriculture Executive Valentine Ogongo who said each function called for some people is always an avenue to insult the governor.

Last Friday, county secretary Christopher Rusana during a funeral in Oruba estate within Migori town said that Ayacko and other leaders main work was to un-productively criticize the governor despite him being out to fulfill his mandate.
