Despite ODM working closing with the Jubilee government, Rongo MP Paul Abuor has said those being the new scandal at National Youth Service should face the full force of law.

Abuor called for speedy investigations over fresh NYS.

He said it is unfortunate that when former Youth CS now Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru left the new officials promised to streamline things at the office.

“We know we are working with the Jubilee Government, but we need a speedy probe on the scandal,” he said.

He was speaking with Migori News at Kosodo Primary School in his constituency on Tuesday.

A report by the Director General of the National Intelligence Service exposed that 13 vouchers amounting to Sh8 billion were paid to “ghost” companies for non-existent supplies to the NYS.

It is alleged that senior government officials used proxies to register companies that were used to siphon money from the organisation.
