There was drama at Migori High court on Thursday as a man believed to be a witchdoctor with herbs called ‘dumba’ was ejected at election petition hearing.

Both uniformed and plain police officers took the time to frisk members of the public accessing the court for an election petition filed by by independent candidate and former Cabinet Minister Ochillo Ayacko against governor Okoth Obado on ODM ticket.

The public were frisked at the main gate and the court room where a man wearing a muslim hat was turned away by police at the court.

Shocked onlookers are seen telling the man off and shouting for him to confirm who sent him at the court.

There was tension at the court which was to give important rulings filed by the petitioner.
