Awendo MP Walter Owino has revealed that Migori police have launched investigations over recent spate of murders in the area.

Speaking at Dede Market in his constituency, the legislator said as local leaders they met with police who promised to push investigations over the murder trials.

He said the bizzare deaths points to a cult or a serial killer and called on the public to help police by availing information to reverse the worrying trend.
