His sentiments was shared by United Democratic Alliance (UDA) officials led by chairman Phares Oguda and Youth Leader Paul Okeyo in a different press conference in Migori town on Sunday morning.

The two said when mass action is called it is Nyanza counties who are affected the most and since their start there have been no help accorded to youths maimed and killed by police.

“We as a region are the most affected by Raila call for mass action through bad economy, maiming and even death we want it to be stopped,” Oguda said.

Oguda said Raila has been using mass action to look for position each time he loses an election.

“We will first need Raila to tell us any country or region that has benefitted from mass action before we join him, we want him to give Ruto time to revive the economy,” Okeyo said.
