Migori senator Ochillo Ayacko should not only rely on elders endorsement from the minority Kuria community for his governor bid in 2022 general elections, professional have said.

The Kuria Community Professional from New Jersey in United States of America told Migori News said as professionals they will only embrace the endorsement after meaningful dialogue with all stakeholders.

“We wish to react to a recent endorsement by our elders who placed Ayacko as a front runner in the governor race, we believe the community still needs a sober minded leader,” Vitalis ‘Matiso’ Matinde said.

He said the community professionals will still shop around for a better suited governor aspirant and other leaders who will not rely on political conman-ship in the future.

“Kuria land has been among top revenue point in Migori county and as youths and professionals we will stand firm to ensure our stake is articlulated well by those leaders who will bring development,” Matinde said.

Matinde said in last polls he vied for Bukira East MCA seat on a Wiper ticket and the seat went to Mathews Chacha, the current Deputy Speaker and is mulling on his next political move in 2022 general elections.

“I used to work with several community based organisations in Kuria before i left home to seek greener pastures in New Jersey, i will make my next political move back home soon,” he said.
