A veteran print journalist has lauded Migori governor Ochillo Ayacko for his pick for the Finance and Economic Planning docket.

Geoffrey Mosoku, former Standard Media Group reporter took to his Facebook page to laid the appointment of Maurice Otunga.

Mosoko called Otunga, ‘Emamba’ a nickname they gave the immediate former Rapogi High School Principal.

“All the best sir for your nomination as CEC Finance, Migori County,” he posted.

“You are the most diligent teacher I ever encountered in my four years at St Paul’s Gekano school where you served as the Deputy Principal in the 90s and early 2000,” he said.

He said Otunga was now poised to go “now and serve the people of Migori. Godspeed sir.”

The appointment are set for grilling by the assembly.
