Migori County govenor Okoth Obado Urges the residents to use social media as a ways of creating awareness to the COVID19 pandemic.

Speacking while receiving donations from Both Safaricom,SCOPEteam and Jumbo Enterprise,Obado said that many people have failed to understand the role of social media and therefore they end up posting things that add no value to the society.

Obado continued by congratulating the press team for the support they have shown by always creating awareness to the residents in many ways.

He urged the media team to come up with more ideas on how to make people understand the dangers of Corona virus disease and the precautions to be taken.

“You have continously helped us especially during this pathetic time and we appreciate your effort.please help both men and women of migori get to knowmore information on  dangers of this disease through your media platforms.”

However,Obado expressed his gratitude to Jumbo,SCOP and Safaricom for the donations they gave out and encouraged more donors to join them with aim of fighting The COVID19 disease.
