“The donation will go along way to cushion beneficiaries against negative effects of Covid19 on the economy. We are very greatful for this donation as a community,” Ngome said.

Consolata Ongoro, 70, lauded the foundation’s donation saying it will cushion her together with her three grandchildren.

“I want to say thanks for this donation, my crops had been destroyed by flood waters. May God’s grace be with those who helped us,” she said.

Andre Patrice Carter, the director of the foundation said they have also supported similar initiatives in Kisumu and Homa Bay counties.

He said in Migori, the donation will also touch beneficiaries closer to Tanzania in nearby international border.
