Businessman Tom Torro has taken a notch higher the race for Oruba-Ragana ward race higher with direct engagement with voters ahead of August 9 general elections.
Torro is among aspirants who seek to replace the incumbent Mallan Ogega.
“Through Torro Foundation i have raised about 350,000 which i have paid for fees for over 100 students in secondary, colleges and university students,” Torro said.
He said he was confident of being elected under the ODM Ticket as his engagement with voters was top-notch.
He was speaking after work of maintenance of Rumours-Siany-Nyamome road was ongoing.
“I chose to repair the road which often gets destroyed during floods,” he said.
