Kuria West police boss Cleti Kimaiyo has said they have arrested a key suspect behind cases of insecurity in Isebania town which borders Tanzania.
Samuel Muniko Mwita was arrested at Baghdad estate when was walking around wearing a motorbike helmet and one black toy pistol, a knife, a Somali sword and two national identification cards were recovered.
Members of the public have complained to police over rising insecurity as cases of mugging and break-ins in have soared.

In the latest incident on Thursday a businessman Yakub Ismail Habashow, 23, was shot on the right arm shot on his bicep and beaten after he was accosted by four gangsters in the Isebania town.
He was trailed from a Tanzanian bank where he had gone to exchange Kenyan currency
He was rushed to Migori Referral Hospital where he is on a stable condition.
