South Sakwa MCA Ouma Ngoro has said the voting process across Migori county has been peaceful.

Ngoro voted at Manyatta Primary School in Awendo constituency and said the turnout across Migori was still low.

“We know of problems with KIEMS kit especially in rural places, but we hope the turnout will be positive,” Ngoro said.

He said apart from few cases of skirmishes, the process was peaceful.

“We still hope for high turnout among voters before polls are closed,” he said.

Ngoro is defending his seat on ODM ticket in the polls facing off several candidates.
