Rongo police launched investigations over the death of a three years old who allegedly drowned in a well.

The girl only identified as Daisy died in Central Kamagambo ward as she slipped in a well left open by a neighbour.

According to the mother, Caroline Odhiambo who is a nurse at Rongo Sub County hospital, she had gone to see a friend in the neighborhood only to come back and find her daughter’s body lying besides the well.

Area chief Philip Dande, said the owner of the well will be investigated and area police boss Jonathan Muganda, they will arrest the suspect if parents of the girl press any charges.

The body of the young girl was taken to Rose Wood Mortuary in Rongo Town.
