Supporters of ODM leader Raila Odinga have urged him to use momentum on his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta to vie for 2022 elections.

Led by Siaya senator James Orengo and Uriri MP Mark Nyamita, supporters said Raila still has a chance to be in State House in next elections.

The two leaders said they were still weighing the the handshake, and will make a move in next elections.

“it is the swearing in ceremony as the people’s president that brought the handshake, we won’t be tired until the day he will hold the bible to enter State House,” Orengo said.

He said Raila is the only leader with courage to bring reforms in the country.

Nyamita said that Raila is still young to lead the country even though “the handshake may not be about 2022, but we are still calculating as opposition with Raila still in the cards

He said they will be ready for referendum in the forthcoming elections.
