Raila Odinga will on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 attend the funeral of Zablon Owigo Olang’ in Sori town.

Odinga will join other mourners in sending off former Ndhiwa MP.

Olang will be buried at his home in Raguda, Kachieng Ward, in a funeral where governor politics is expected to take center stage.

“Odinga is expected to land in Raguda early afternoon,” Nyatike MP Tom Odege said.

“I appeal to our people to show up in peace to welcome the PM and get his guidance on critical national issues,” Odege said.

But already political tectonic plates are shifting ahead of the funeral on who will replace governor Okoth Obado.

Several aspirants are believed to be planning to use the platform to announce their bid and capture attention of dignitaries, including Raila.
