Politicians should avoid inflammatory remarks- Bishop Okinda

Bishop Dr. John Okinda, the Migori County Chairman Interfaith Council have called politicians to desist from inflammatory remarks.

He warned that current political rhetoric have heightened division and hatred among peace loving Kenyans.

Speaking to Migori News in Migori town, Okinda said politicians should be held responsible for hate speech.

“Police should use a descent approach while arresting suspected leaders to avoid clash with the locals. He was against arresting church leaders at night,” he said.

“I pray that all political leaders work together so that they begin to heal the Country, we would not wish to see a divided Nation since we are getting closer to the general elections,” said Okinda.
