Former Nyatike MP Edick Anyanga castigated leaders claiming they already have ODM certificates ahead of 2022 general elections.

Anyanga said such  utterances will d lead to voter apathy and taint the ODM party image in a bad light.

Anyanga currently serves on the NG-CDF board as a director.

“We are asking those people are claiming to have gotten the ODM certificate to stop it, we don’t know their intention is to ensure our leader Raila Odinga is not elected as president,” he said.

At the sometime Anyanga told leaders to stop dirty politics but instead focus on the politics that can bring development and job to the youth

The leader urged elected leaders from Migori County to come out and mobilize people to register as voters ahead of the 2022 general election

Anyanga was speaking during the burial of his brother-in-law in Tagache village Nyatike sub-county.

He said that leaders must retreat to the grassroots, mobilize voter registration to aid Raila presidency

“President Uhuru Kenyatta has accepted that Raila to be the fifth president of this country then whom should we ask, let all leaders come back home and support the process starting from ID to voter registration,” said Anyanga.

Anyanga said more voters into the current Nyanza basket would help Raila ascension to the presidency.
