Awendo MP Walter Owino fulfilled an election pledge which was met with jubilation and dance rocked Rabondo Mixed Secondary School was launched.

The bus was fully funded by National Government Constituency Development Fund and was handed over to the school principal and its management by the legilsator.

The MP urged locals to give support to learning institutions within their environs to be able to yield good academic results.

“We have qualified teachers in our schools and when supported our children will be able to pass their exams with flying colours. The education sector needs support not only from the national government but also from parents and locals for a peaceful coexistence,” said Sirawa.

He acknowledged the efforts made by teachers to ensure their learners are well prepared for exams despite challenges posted by the corona virus that also brought other challenged on board.

“Despite the covid 19 bringing on board several challenges even in the education sector, our teachers have been working tirelessly to ensure they impact knowledge on our children.” Noted the MP.

He however urged school heads and administrators to call for assistance whenever there is need to ensure the infrastructural and academic development is well addressed and in time to gear support towards the learners.

He said plans are still underway to ensure Nyakuru and Raywer secondary schools and the newly constructed Kenya Medical Training College receive buses fully funded buses.
