Migori senator Ochillo Ayacko has constructed a new public shade for the Migori town Posta taxi operators.

Ayacko through the senator’s office manager Samwel Nyandiga, donated cash to posta taxi to help erect a shade.

The shade was removed because of the ongoing road construction.

“We took this gesture to ensure they always have a place to wait for customers,” Nyandiga told Migori News.

The posta grounds have been the epicenter of county politics which played out between Ayacko and governor Okoth Obado.

The shade was donated by Obado before youths painted it pro-Ayacko in last last polls and prevented it from being carted away.

Paul Ogutu, the chairman of taxi operators thanked Ayacko for the move which he said will shield them.
