Activist Rhoda Nchagwa has upped vote hunting for senator Ochillo Ayacko with a series of meeting over the weekend in Kuria East constituency.

Nchagwa fellowshipped with locals at Nyamaranya Christ Miracle Church where she urged locals to vote for Ayacko as the next Migori governor in 2022 general elections.

“As the Kuria community we have already received the blessing of the elders to push through Ayacko as the next governor, and we look forward to having an administration in place to spur development across the county,” she said.

She said despite the court putting a break on changing the constitution, all is not lost as separation of powers between the executive and judiciary, the bill of rights including administration of justice and devolution have been secured.

“Devolution has been a game changer and we are seeing a lot of development mashinani,” he said.

“As activists, we will still seek for the constitution to be amended to explicitly address the gender rule as as it is,” she said.

She insisted she is “an adult of sane mind holding a Master’s in Gender and Development from UoN.I believe therefore I am up to task to serve this nation in whatever capacity, including the DG position.”
