If elections were held today in Awendo constituency, the incumbent Walter Owino will win 70 per cent of votes, a pollster has said.
Mizani Africa today released polls that placed the incumbent leading with 69.7% followed a distant second by former Migori executive Isca Oluoch at 20.9 per cent on Independent ticket.
Bishop Peter Midodo, another Independent candidate trails third with 4.7% of voters with other candidates sharing 1.6% votes among themselves.
Only 3.1% of voters are undecided.
Walter has been confident in the campaign trails as he has been banking on showing his development projects which included several police and chief offices to boost security, new Awendo KMTC and a multi-million Dede market project.
