Robert Kenedy Okong’o ‘Ja Migori’ has officially picked the Independent ticket for the governor race in the forthcoming general elections.

Ja Migori said he has picked the route after he bolted out of the ODM primaries which gave senator Ochillo Ayacko direct ticket.

“I am running as an independent candidate,” Ja Migori said.

His symbol will be a buffalo.

“This means that i am not affiliated to any political party. What binds you and i are your wishes and aspirations,” he said.

He said despite not being affiliated to any party, he still supports Azimio One Kenya alliance and leader Raila Odinga.

He said he “firmly supports Raila Amolo Odinga’ presidential bid.”

The aspirant said he will mount leadership which only focus on ideology and solution based strategies.

“I know its easy to hide under party waves but for your sake let me choose the hard way,” he said.

Migori governor Okoth Obado will go home after his second term ends by August 9.
