Nyatike MP Tom Odege after being declared winner

Nyatike MP Tom Odege has retained his seat in a comfortable win amid chaotic campaigns and voting.

By Monday night, Odege was already ahead with 14,836 votes followed by former MP Edick Anyanga with 8,253 votes.

Odege would open and maintain the lead as the results kept ticking in despite violence that saw police arrest 10 suspects, with two found with crude weapons.

The arrest was confirmed by Migori police commander Mark Wanjala who said they will be taken to court.
