Migori county governor aspirant Mark Nyamita over the weekend faulted governor Okoth Obado over protracted land squabble with the Catholic Church.

Nyamita lauded the move by the two parties to form a committee to find an amicable solution to land matter at Rapogi.
He asked the Christians to pray for the governor.

“I kindly ask you to pray for the leadership of our county to see the light and end the land problem peacefully. No one has ever fought God and succeeded,” he said.

The aspirant also said the cases which are in court will ensure that justice prevails.

Nyamita also asked the youth to shun violence and engage in income generating activities that improve their lives.

He faulted Obado for neglecting youths “who are still unemployed by engaging on sideshows and political duplicity instead of creating employment.”
