Three legislators from Migori county are among Kenya’s most dormant MPs at the national assembly, a national daily has reported.
According to the Star newspaper last weekend, Joseph Obiero Ndiege (Suna West, ODM) and Mathias Robi (Kuria West, URP) are yet to make their maiden speech in the house over a year after being elected.
The two first time MPs are yet to speak in the house and be recorded in the hansard for either contributing in debates or pushing through agendas affecting their constituencies giving their electorates a raw deal.
“However, his (Ndiege) highest moment is perhaps slapping a female MP during a heated debate in the House last year,” the paper reports.
Meanwhile Shadrack Manga (Kuria East, Kanu) made a return to the house after two misses has spoken only five times since being elected.
Manga served as an assistant Minister in the Moi administration and is Kanu’s national vice chairperson.
A plea to our ‘Dumb’ Mp;,Hon.Ndiege,we gave u a chance not to take Suna West Statue but our issues!The ‘Yea!’,the ‘Yes!’,the ‘Infact’,the ‘sure!’….blah blah you good at in the House are not enough.I hope we never punished you by giving you such responsibilities.

Please give a break to the honorable legislators you refer to as” Dumb”, you need to see how much Hon Ndiege has done in the constituency.You may not know that he reaches to the needs of the constituents, roads,social welfare,education etc call them.
Leadership may not be about making on noise everywhere including parliament.
Give them a break!

if the truth was to be told, i think Hon. MANGA needs firing.. he is never in office and has never addressed wananchi on the development of Kuria East. Tribal clashes define exactly why he should quite office for investigation. How many Kurians should die for him to wake up? He believes his inner circle (bunch of failures) will define who is to get CDF funds and UWEZO FUND for him to fulfil his promisess? He has never gone to ntimaru.. a sub-constituency to Kuria East.. why is he deviding Kurians along ethnic lines..the Migori County government should call a gathering to take signatures to impeach him.
Ndiege has failed the youths in his constituency.The only thing he can offer them en nyuka abagi.
We are going to make sure that we take him home 2017.Peter Masara will carry the day though Mwabe will be the main candidate to look at keenly.
