Kuria politicians campaign for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga are finding the going tough after chaotic August 24 speaker elections.

Kuria East politician Tyson Kemege has warned that the 34 per cent Kuria votes which Raila got on August 8 will be a mirage if the stalemate that denied lawyer Kerario Marwa win isn’t solve quickly.

Kemege said despite ODM getting 4 MCAs out of 12 in Kuria, no Kuria was nominated in county despite ODM officials nominating their wives and daughters ourt of 17 slots.

“We have nothing to tell voters to cast their ballot in favour of Raila in Kuria, the speaker chaos and skewed county posts have created bad blood,” Kemege told Migori News.

Uhuru Kenyatta won in both Kuria East and Kuria West constituencies to get a total of 41,951 votes which is 65 per cent of votes cast against Raila’s 21,199 votes at 34 per cent.
“We will even find it harder to get the 34 per cent, leave alone bridging the gap against Jubilee campaign money juggernaut,” Kemege said.
