Kiambu County Planning Executive and Kuria East MP aspirant Wilson Mwita Tosha has said he defected from ODM immediately after he was denied the Deputy Governor seat in 2013.

Tosha who has been picked by Jubilee as their point man in Kuria East constituency said his appointment in Kiambu by governor William Kabogo was in good faith from government.

Tosha said his denial has shown that the Kuria community has “been sidelined by ODM for long and it will not be a victim of another shambolic nomination.”

“I have no hard feeling for ODM party and their governor candidate for what happened, that is water under the bridge as I seek to represent Kuria East,” he said.

Mwita said he was prepared to be the next legislator of Kuria East and ensure the Jubilee alliance bags both presidential and ward posts in the region.

“I am the next MP for Kuria East and will ensure Jubilee reigns in Kuria and Migori county, “ he said.
Tosha sets to square it out with Kuria East ODM chair and nominated MCA Rahab Robi among other aspirants.

Area MP Shadrack Manga will not vie in 2017 due to old age and health complications.
