A motorbike rider died on the spot at Chamkombe area along busy Kisii-Migori road on Monday, just outside Migori town.
Police report has identified the deceased as Jackson Kadenge 35, a Luhya rider from Bware-Sigiria area of South Kanyamkago in Uriri.
Witnesses said the lorry lost control, rammed on another vehicle belonging to a Chinese construction company which further rammed on the rider.
Several people were hurt in the accident.
The Kakrao-Chamkombe-Onyalo stretch has been placed as among hot spot areas by the traffic police.
