Migori town residents have raised concern over insecurity after a farmhand was found murdered in cold blood at Kimaiga estate.

The body of the man only identified as Sylus aged to be between 45-50 years was found murdered in cold blood on Friday dawn by traders, Caleb Ombura, the Suna Central Location chief told Migori News.

“Blood was found on maize plantation which meant there was a struggle and his household equipment found left next to him,” Ombura said.

Ombura said the man was a neighbour with another farmhand in a compound which had only two houses made of mabati. The neighbour said.

The body was taken to Migori Referral Hospital mortuary.
